Listserv Committee
The Chapter has two listservs. Our announcement-only listserv
(called NYSSCSW-Met-Chapter) enables Metropolitan Chapter
members to learn about various educational activities sponsored
by the Society. Our second listserv (called Interactive-Met-Chapter
or Interactive) is an interactive email group that allows
members to interact and network directly with other chapter
members regarding referrals, office space rentals, managed
care and insurance problems, practice issues, educational
activities sponsored by other organizations, and other
issues of concern to our members. Interactive (in existence
since 2006) has proven to be an invaluable resource to
members, creating a supportive and collegial community.
All new members are added to both lists
upon joining the Met Chapter. To apply to join the interactive
listserv, see the Listserv Committee listing below.
